Splash 2001

The Splash 2001 unit is the ideal aerator for freshwater fish farms in raceways and in small or large ponds. These units feature a double propeller for maximum efficiency in injecting high volumes of oxygen into the water. The Splash 2001 aerator works with an SAE (Standard Aeration Efficiency) of 6.16 pounds of oxygen per Kilowatt Hour. No other aeration equipment is capable of combining so efficiently the circulation and oxygenation levels with such horsepower requirements.

The units are available in 0.5, 1, and 1.5 horsepower with a mixing capacity of 31,700, 50,721, and 60,759 gallons per hour (528, 845, and 1505 gallons per minute) respectively. The unique vertical flow makes the Splash an energy efficient aerator for successful water quality management with no bottom turbulence. All Splash 2001 aerators can be fitted with water draw skirts of up to 6.5 feet deep (water conveyors) so as to bring up colder water in the summer and warmer in the winter so as to maximize the aeration effect by de-stratifying, de-gassing and oxygenating.

The Splash 2001 can be equipped with a special cover (The Oxydrome) for pure oxygen injection to significantly increase production yields in tilapia and trout farms. For very intensive cultivation a grid is available to protect the propeller. Our array of ordering options allows you to choose a Sprint 2001 version that will meet your specific requirements.
